Valerie’s current style is contemporary bold color statements of shape and figure on large wrapped canvas with deep volume, she transformed and re birthed her artistic energy into a medium that provides limitless artistic freedom and allows her to push the boundaries of her gift while giving her the greatest sense of happiness. 

Valerie considers herself an abstract expressionist utilizing a pour and drip technique and a contemporary palette. Out of the stillness of a blank canvas, waking from simple shape, each piece coalesces to form a personality of its own. Each new curve or line blooms a beautiful life and suddenly it appears on the canvas as if it was there all along. 

Looking toward the future, with her interest in staging and home design, Valerie’s work provides a focal point for a beautiful home or business. With a previous history working with interior designers, the space in how her paintings exist is always at the forefront of her mind.
